Anthony Bodden: Biography A gigantic blast of creative energy, Anthony Bodden has been stoking the fires of the filmmaking industry for more than a decade. Chances are, you’ve enjoyed one of the projects he’s been an instrumental part of. Anthony is Founder and President of Undaground Promotions—a marketing company partly responsible for the success of movies such as American Gangster (DVD), Shaft, Crash, Pearl Harbor, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, 28 Weeks Later, Hills Have Eyes and many more. Anthony co-wrote the cult classic film, Belly, and Final Draft Video treatments written and submitted to Erik White and Jessy Terrero for Ludacris-Mary J Blige ‘Runaway Love’ Experienced in all facets of the film industry, Anthony has also worked behind the scenes for Baby Boy, Director John Singleton, and EPK Director/Producer on The Tenants, starring Snoop Dogg & Dylan McDermott, directed by Danny Green. Early in his apprenticeship, Anthony was involved in the production of the music videos, Getting Jiggy With It/ Will Smith; Sunshine/Jay Z; Street Dreams/Nas; Been Around the World/P Diddy & Mase; Dangerous/Busta Rhymes; I Believe I Can Fly/R Kelly; Nice and Slow / Usher, as Assistant to one of the most influential and important Video Directors of all time, Hype Williams. Anthony has studied scriptwriting at UCLA, under Emmy Award winner-author Kate Wright, who has worked with America’s most distinguished film and literary talent, including the legendary Tennessee Williams, the late Jason Miller, as well as many Emmy and Academy Award winning writers. In his spare time Anthony enjoys studying the works of Plato, Socrates and Aristotle, in addition to reading books by Malcolm Gladwell and others who encourage thinking at a higher level.
