Ziana Bethune: Biography

Ziana Bethune also writes under the names, Kristal Ryan, Donna Dakotah, and Adrienne Bishop...different names for different genres. She has recently completely a true story called, "It's A Quiet Thing: The Life of Syn," with co-author Anthony Bodden. The galleys have not even come back yet, and the first stages of writing a screenplay for this story are in progress.

Ziana's work has been translated into several languages and published worldwide. Author of both fiction, non-fiction and biographies, Ziana is also currently writing a full-length bio for Arnaud Quarré de Champvigy, Swiss/French Model who placed in the 2008 Mr. Swizz Competition, and is an Embassador for Phonak AG. "I Hear With My Heart," is scheduled to be released in the fall. As well, she has written effective and powerful profiles for individuals in the film-making and newsroom industries.

Writing has always been her first love, though she switched careers many times before focusing completely on her dream.

Ziana is a graduate (with honors) of Henderson's College of Business in Calgary, AB, Canada, and holds several awards of achievement in arts, poetry, and business. She is a founding member and former President of the ARWA, and has been a judge for national international writers' contests. Her unique brand of humor draws large crowds at writers' conferences, where she frequently teaches workshops.
